The pre-bid meeting for Contracts 6 (Communication) and 7 (Audio/Video) will be tomorrow, August 25th at 1pm at the City Center.
Anyone interested in submitting a bid is strongly encouraged to attend.

Construction Bids
Now that the bids are in and have been officially calculated...
MLB Construction, of Malta, NY, has been selected as General Contractor; Collett Mechanical, of Latham, NY, for HVAC work; Alltek Energy Systems, of of Waterford, NY for Plumbing work; Gross Electric, of Queensbury, for Electrical work; and Davis-Ulmer Sprinkler Company, of Latham, NY for Fire Protection Work.
There has also been another advertisement for bids for Communications and Audio/Video. It will be in the Saratogian on the 20th and 21st, the Gazette on the 21st and 22nd and the Times Union on the 22nd and 23rd.
On another note... during construction the City Center Offices will be moving across the street to 517 Broadway, suite 206.

Today is day one! Bids for construction were accepted and opened today. A big thanks goes out to everyone who submitted their bids before the deadline this morning, and who stayed around to hear them read.
The Authority will review the bids on the 12th and make recommendations to the City Council for the Council Meeting on the 18th. Check back on the 19th for who gets the notice to proceed.
